Bio I Like

Curtis Olson is a busy man. When he is not feverishly creating award-winning objects of art marked by discernable power and neo-classical incongruity, he is patiently designing daring contemporary architecture rooted in traditional vernacular. Reckless expressionism tempered by a classically trained eye is the hallmark of his vast and constantly expanding oeuvre.

Having been raised semi-nomadically, living mostly in the Western United States, Curtis has returned to his Western roots to set up residence amid the isolated splendor of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. When he isn’t pouring out his heart in his studio, adventuring in the Wyoming wilds, fighting the good fight for peace, justice and the environment, Curtis is traveling the globe increasing his ever expanding knowledge of the world’s art, culture, architecture and gastronomy. His wily and semi-trustworthy dog, Mosely, joins him on his land-based adventures.

Curtis’ status is enhanced by his possession of an Architecture degree from the University of North Carolina–Charlotte, and numerous studies in Graphic Design and the Fine Arts from some of the United States best institutions.
